i remember Matt Damon telling Dave Letterman that it was gonna be a hardcore Rated R sci-fi movie…but that was a while ago.  I sincerely hope they keep it as an R.  Gettin' tired of this PG-13, pullin' punches, less visceral impact bullshit.

I agree with basically everything here except the part about The Wanderer (starring Johnny Cash) being "shapeless."  I love that song.

You're right…it IS their sixth album, indeed.

actually, it will be their sixth record, not their fifth….but that doesn't change the fact that this is great fucking news.

I'm available….
Seriously, I'M AVAILABLE FOR THIS PROJECT.

This is so freaking hilarious!

"Moment for moment, Upside Down is the most embarrassing, hilarious, obliviously stupid movie since M. Night Shyamalan’s The Happening, and its constant pursuit of a striking image over any other consideration undermines it at every turn."
Is it wrong that this sentence makes me really want to see the movie now??

saw them last night at the Hideout in Chicago, and they did indeed OWN.  Dude definitely plays the fuck out of the bari sax, as ElDan previously stated.

FUCK

this means the new Queens Of The Stone Age album is probably done….being recorded.  Kinda pumped to hear that, honestly.

Not only is this extremely well written, but I agree with all of it.  Well played, Mr. Tobias.

Mr. Show!

this is album is really fucking good

I'm just glad someone said The Afghan Whigs.  In addition to Gentlemen, I'd say the opening two tracks of Black Love are a pretty damn great one-two punch (Crime Scene Part One into My Enemy).  Also, anyone ever hear that Chicago band Triplefastaction?  Their first album, Broadcaster, opens with the beautiful

ooooooooF.

I'm….confused.

Just watched this.  The first 30 minutes or so were awesome, but then I kinda got a little annoyed at how often the script referenced the antagonists being able to "see your fear."  A little bit silly, how they basically made that literal.  I'd give it a B minus, I guess.
