That could have been a better approach. Although I haven't re-read it in years, I remember thinking at the time that it was trying to do too much in too few pages. It was also a little too wedded to the idea of mashing GL and Bats together, two properties that fit in some ways, but not in others.

I must espouse the opposite viewpoint. I was also super excited for Batman: In Darkest Knight when it came out, but I found it to be a horrible mess. I'm glad you enjoyed it, but I must warn others. Stay away, it's a nice idea, poorly executed.
