It does have an unfinished feel to it, but I'm glad it was published. But yes, bittersweet.

It is great, but I was a bit reluctant to suggest it because it switches genres with every issue. I thought something a little more straightforward might be better for a new reader.
You're very welcome. I worked in a comic store a long time and still love matching the right books to the right people. Let me know if you try any of them and whether you liked them or not, I'm interested either way. Or if you'd like more suggestions.
Absolutely. Next question is, do you want short stories, or long, ongoing ones? I'll try to suggest some of each.
Thanks.
Good point. I did like the countdown aspect of the volume three issues, but if you're not buying them as they come out, I suppose the effect is a bit lost. Well, whichever format you pick, I hope they enjoy it.
Cool. I'll go grab a copy. Thanks!
Grinding my way through XCOM 2. These aliens are a bunch of jerks!
Revisiting the too short sitcom Better Off Ted because I enjoy laughing.
Oh, did they collect Ennis's Demon run? I've been considering digging my copies out of the vault and re-reading them, but if there's a trade I'd rather go for that. Yeah, the haunted tank story is great, another example of how much Ennis prefers writing war stories (and westerns and cop stories) over superheroes.
There are so many genres and styles in contemporary comics. What sorts of stories do you enjoy in other media? Superheroes? Crime and Noir? Sci-Fi? Fantasy? Romance? Slice of Life? War? There are good (and bad) examples of almost any genre.
Original floppies. The covers are terrific, especially the "de-enhanced" cover from volume 1.
Welcome Back ICP!
Got all four today! Today I am smart! Tomorrow, I return to dull eyed idiocy.
As a long time DC fan I can only say, "Same as it ever was."
Really, Internet? Really?
There was an old What The?! spoof on Lone Wolf and Cub, where Wolverine kills three assassins by drowning them in Claremont's dialogue.
This has aways been my problem with him, No clear motives, no clear abilities and a goofy design.
Checked out a little of the new Looney Tunes. Not bad. It embraces modern comedy tropes without abandoning the spirit of the older material.
Nearly finished The Shepherd's Crown I keep slowing down as I read, because I don't want it to be over.
