Nearly finished Science of the Discworld IV: Judgement Day and then I will have no more excuses, I must finally read The Shepherd's Crown.

Went to a morning showing of The Iron Giant at the cineplex on Saturday. I love that movie, and had never seen it on the big screen, which is clearly the way it's meant to be watched. So many gorgeous compositions.
A real tipperoo!
They are very hard to kill, and just when you think you've got them all, the next generation hatches and it starts all over again. I ended up discarding nearly all my furniture and sealing my possessions up for two years to make sure they were dead. Being infested was one of the most nightmarish experience of my…
In that book he explains that otherwise crappy films may have an effectively scary scene or moment, but you have to sit through crap to get to them. After a while, you develop a taste for it.
Fair enough. A chacun son gout.
I don't know. Book 4 has several attacks on the Lockes that are presented to the reader as single panels. Many of those could be expanded upon for episodes. Flashback episodes to the origins of certain keys would work well too. One of the great elements of Locke and Key is the huge amount of history that the house…

Happy Birthday!
Ugh. So annoying. Good luck with that.
Enjoy that Philip K. Dick. Just don't develop paranoia about whether you or the world around you are real. Or do, if that's what you want.
Thank you. Ì've seen a wee bit of it. I know Ì should give it a proper try, but I'm so wedded to the versions of these stories that exist in my head, that I'm resistant to other versions. Unreasonable, I know, I need to let go a little.
Still working on Science of the Discworld IV: Judgement Day I appreciate how it's less hard science and more discussion of how human perception affects science and society. Pretty interesting, if tough to gauge how accurate it is. Anyway, here's another Pratchett review. Sorry about that.
Finally started X-COM 2. So much fun getting my ass kicked. I anticipate wasting much time on it.
Well maybe, but I think the layouts and image choices are very era-appropriate
