Was there ever a serious argument against?

Agreed. When it comes to Superman, Batman and the Justice League there is a huge amount of middle-of-the-road material that people might read if it were easily available and cheap.

I have vague memories of that run. It's okay. Not free of the excesses of the nineties, but not the worst offender either. Basically, standard Justice League with a b-list roster.

I think the only movie I've ever walked out on was Scary Movie. Because it's terrible.

Yeah. It can be tricky, but fortunately it's not absolutely essential to read the individual character stories in order. And what a good friend you have!

I like his justification for giving a child a sword.

Ooh. One of my favourites. So many great scenes and moments.

Now I'm hungry. That sounds delicious! Why do I read this thread!?!

Derf's stuff is so good.

Ah yes. The classic Mousse de la Boue dans un Panier de la pate de Chaussures. A holiday staple.

Two bookshelves. And those are shelves that have books on them, the discs are piled up in front. I'm looking forward to having access to those books again.

I am re-reading them in publication order, I just haven't looked up which one comes after Hogfather yet, as I just finished it this morning on the way to work. But thank you very much for the link, I appreciate the gesture.

It was a different time, and no one was doing anything else like it, but Ennis does get a bit obvious, both in his opinions and his desire to shock.

I'm trying to go through all of my discs, rip any content I want and store it on a terabyte, then discard, recycle or sell the physical discs. My computer's disc drive doesn't like working more than 30 minutes at a time before it needs a break though, so this is taking forever.

Apple juice. So sweet, so tangy. It's good stuff.

With the swearing and the blasphemy. So edgy!

Alias is some solid stuff. Back when Bendis was just some indie crime guy that Marvel took a chance on. I'm curious how much of it will make the transition to tv.

Still Pratchett. Just finished Hogfather. Not sure which one's next. Would have written another review, but life got in the way, as it so often does. You're spared for now at least.

When I saw it, at one point the sound in the theatre briefly died, but it didn't matter, because I knew what the actors were saying anyway.

Oh no, certainly not. Most dogs and pet owners are fine. I just feel you shouldn't blame yourself for being bit as a small child. But who am I to tell you what to do?
