The Ex-Mendables.

What's funny is that reading is bringing on feelings of deja vu from reading the first AV Club review of Two Broke Girls citing things like its unearned plum time slot, low ambitions built around outdated stereotypes, and a cast with more potential squandered that realized.  I'm not bothering to go back and see if

Of course there are no gags in this episode, with enough practice you get rid of that whole reflex, sweetie.

He'll always be the kid from Critters to me, although the first thing I ever saw him in was a truly awful family film about a kid befriending a talking frog who was an Italian lounge singer before he was transformed by some magic curse or something.  Scarred me badly enough that I still resent my 5th grade teacher

I think they were trying to out-awesome the way that the actor died in Robocop, which I don't think could ever be done on a TV show budget.  Hell I don't think it could be done on Microsoft's budget.

He got sucked into the background pretty damn quickly, didn't he?  I assumed that he was just too much of a good soldier to disobey a general, even if he did still have a soft spot for the 2nd Mass.  Beyond pairing up The Professor and Skipper, I think Porter's mustache is the only thing holding humanity together in

Random thoughts: 1.  Looks like someone clued the folks in charge of the show that Moon Bloodgood is actually part Korean and not Native American, robbing Dai of the invincibility that comes with being a token character of some kind.  We will add his name to the wall of the Fallen Surplus Minority Characters along

Keios, I was expecting some throwaway line towards the end about how they got busted.  They went out there thinking Mike was a dirty cop who would keep it clean, when they left the jurisdiction of their protective dirty cops and gunned downed a guy over a mobile drug lab in the middle of nowhere.

In Falling Skies land dark skin is the new red shirt.  Once Anthony and Pope showed up last week I figured that Jamil wouldn't make to Charleston but I though he might at least last another week.

If he'll be around for a bit then I'm guessing he's the one who put the cell phone into Fi's prison pals's cell.  I envision him filling the void left by Larry, who just wanted to work with Mike so very very much.  He told Mike that Fi would ruin his life back when the two of them first hooked up.  (My favorite line

Can you really call Fi an "Irish weapons enthusiast" when we have yet to see her use a shillelagh?
