When they were doing Will It Float? about ten years ago was almost the perfect example of brilliant time-wasting stupidity. Dave openly acknowledging it was a terrible idea for a segment with almost no intrinsic entertainment value while still seriously analyzing the potential of an object to float in water.

Yes, that hip young fifty-one year-old.

That Norm thing was something. Damn, the last guy you'd expect to see show a real emotion of any kind.

Saw Dylan last night in Detroit and watched Letterman when I got home from the concert. Between the two, the wrong guy is retiring.

They can just re-cast him like the Back to the Future sequels.

I'm guessing the last show will have a Regis Philbin cameo and a Foo Fighters performance of "Everlong."

A Mentalist re-run. Unfortunately, that's not a joke.

I don't know, did you see that Zach Braff movie he was in last year? That's not a lone title.

Today I learned Blythe Danner is still alive. I wonder what other surprises await.

You mean unemployed loners?

The original or the pointless reboot from the late nineties? I assume both.

Really, Ernst and Young? Wright Brothers isn't a bad guess really, considering their pre-aviation careers, but they're not typically associated with "businessmen".

You've never tasted a real hamburger have you?

See you then.

Unfortunately the year I went to Olive Garden still ranks among the best New Years' Eves of my life.

John Lennon actually.

Although he still sounds almost nothing like Daniel Stern.

But old people are set in their buying ways. Unless Nigerian princes start buying ad time.

I am perfectly content with having never watched this sentimental garbage. Neither cynical kid me or cynical adult me ever had any tolerance for stupid kid actors mugging for the camera.

Also Che, Jost, and Jones (although the former two were mentioned in the Update segment and neither really seems like a real cast member anyway).
