That's the only fix you can see because you don't seem to grasp how writers in fact create every part of a story and not just the positioning of characters about a set.

All you people encouraging this watered-down tripe are the reason we can't have nice things! This show used to be a primary colour and now it's the pastel equivalent! Death to pastel!

This comment explains so much.

The Shawshank Redemption stuff wasn't funny if you've seen it either.

I hated that line.

My respect for Harmon grows by the episode. This isn't even a not-as-special-as-it-was gotta-lower-expectations-and-it-can-still-be-fun show anymore. It's a crappy, lazy sitcom. It's latter day The Office. It's Big Bang Theory. It's awful.

I just spent a good few minutes trying to remember how the last season ended, before realizing I wandered off about 7 episodes into the season and never finished.

Chase's wife couldn't have been more adorable.

I've enjoyed the season a lot, editing and endless recaps aside, but I wasn't expecting to be so emotionally affected by the finale. Chase's reaction to the reveal was pretty powerful television. There were tears, I admit it.

Joe Schmo without Ralph Garman would be a sad thing indeed.

Saying the full title of his podcast wasn't all that subtle.

I want this to happen.

I hated that they gave her alien powers in the last season. The only redeeming part of that storyline was the idea that Kyle would get them too.

That one episode in season one where there's a heatwave and everyone gets all frisky? That was pretty scandalous for The WB in 1999!

Is that banner picture of Adam and Liz Parker from tonight's episode? Didn't we leave them mid-date, still in the restaurant? Maybe that scene was cut out.

Yeah, it was often slightly terrible, but oh boy did I love it.

I'm Liz Parker and five minutes ago I was on Girls.
After that, things got really weird…

I hated that line! Why is Inspector Spacetime being meta?

But in other, more accurate, ways, it didn't.
