I don't know if it attained blockbuster status (or what the cut off for that even is) but Girls Trip made pretty good money (105 million on a budget of about 30 million).

I haven't seen the show and don't know the actress in it so can't say one way or another. I guess we'll see.

Saw the trailer a while back, looks fun as hell.

I don't find that all too surprising, she's not the most convincing actress. I think her blankness fit the role of a call girl quite well, but might not strike the right notes otherwise.

I like the issue where her friend becomes a Trump supporter and gets hired by Fox for commentary.
