I also loved that Gus said "I don't want him dead, at this moment…" If he only knew!

Yeah I thought that was an odd prediction too. We're all the sudden going to have a side story about a prosecutor getting a job with a fancy law firm?

Interesting. I have the exact opposite response, I love not knowing where it's going and being completely mystified until the last minute (when the shoe started spilling white powder).

If you think the cartel wouldn't kill a little girl just to prove a point you give them way too much credit.

I shouldn't do a lot of things. Now quit hogging all the horse tranquilizer!

Well, that was touching.

I've never been responded to by an actual Seinfeld quote before! I can now leave…on a shall we say…note of distinction. Good day sirs.

He's able to get away with his excessive drinking because by living on an estate of several hundred acres his neighbors don't mind when he has too much.

The book was a great read. I remember at the time thinking "This would make a pretty cool movie!" worth a look IMO.

It is better, but I liked the second season too. They are nowhere near being in the same ballpark, but I still found it an interesting (and sometimes frustrating) look at a story I thought I understood but only really had a shallow conception of. I know it wasn't popular but I still thought it was pretty good.

Re: The Canon
"some stuff happened"? You kinda yada yada'd over the most important part!

Oh, just because they heard it from you?

I think he might have a Mr. Burns type thing going on where he's got all the illnesses kept in perfect balance.

That's how far it's willing to go!

*Looks at Modusoperandi suspiciously. Tilts head*

I don't get all the hate. I don't care for it, but that's just because it's bland. There's much more "hip" music I actually hate. It's like getting worked up about how boring white bread is. Yeah it's not gourmet dining but if someone put it on my plate I'm not going to die of anaphylactic shock or vomit my innards

Maybe the fact that its much harder to make a living selling albums now has made more artists willing to go that way too.

I recall Moby also saying something like (paraphrasing) "If I don't give them permission, they're just going to hire someone to do a cheap knockoff of my stuff so it may as well be the real thing"

Great Job, Internet!

And I say to him, "You are aware that I am not really a wizard…"
