It's a romp of a show, light and frothy, but I feel the lack of Stiv Bators may be its undoing.

Maybe it'll act just like the suit on the show- a scrawny little emo teenager puts it on, and suddenly he's a 6'3" gym rat.
John89 - agreed. "Fringe" is great fun (I think it has a more playful and sophisticated sense of humor than LOST did) and I'm enjoying the hell out of it.
But it can't compare to LOST which, as you said, worked on so many different levels, and stayed true to it's narrative and thematic spine even as the plot…

During the hiatus between seasons 5 and 6 of LOST, I followed the online debates about what it would mean dramatically if the bomb reset worked and we were faced with a set of Losties who never crashed on the island, and how that would damage (or possibly cancel out) our investment with the characters and their…

+1 for "Entrada". It's high on my "watch a random episode" list, for all the reasons you stated- great suspense and action, and Anna Torv shines playing Liv and Faux. Great episode.

Way back in the day, the TV Guide episode blurbs laid bare the stale formula- "Another spell by Endora, another job threat for Darren, another rescue by Samantha". Which I can't disagree with. That does describe a huge amount of episodes.

"What are you talking about? Jon Hamm doesn't have any hands. He lost them in two separate, unrelated accidents."

"As you know, we run a baby ring. It's really a very simple process,
we keep two girls at all times who are impregnated by Channing, our
rather fertile servant. We sell the babies to lesbian couples, and then
we invest the money in various businesses around town.We own a few pornography shops, plus we front money to a…

Is anybody still watching this, now that "Breaking Bad" is over?
