+1 for "Entrada". It's high on my "watch a random episode" list, for all the reasons you stated- great suspense and action, and Anna Torv shines playing Liv and Faux. Great episode.

Way back in the day, the TV Guide episode blurbs laid bare the stale formula- "Another spell by Endora, another job threat for Darren, another rescue by Samantha".  Which I can't disagree with. That does describe a huge amount of episodes.
