I think it's opened in a couple countries. I'm already getting the vibe that this thing has serious 'love it or hate it' potential. So, yeah, might just be a couple people who hated it.

I’m a fan of Christopher Nolan (including the Batman films), but I think the biggest problem with his Batman movies is that for all their earnestness and Nolan’s efforts to create a weighty, more realistic tone, they are still unavoidably comic book action movies. In both Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, there are…

Just read Richard Corliss's review for Time and he openly wondered the same thing (basically, why doesn't someone just shoot that guy?). But yeah, it's a comic book movie so you just have to go with it. It's just tougher with Chistopher Nolan's Batman films because he's clearly going for a more realistic, weightier…

He seems like a nice guy, but I've got to say, being famous must feel AMAZING. Otherwise people wouldn't put themselves through this stuff. Hearing him talk about Dancing with the Stars, and how it was the right time to put himself back out there. Uh, why? To what purpose? You're producing documentaries now? …

This talk of "loose nukes" makes me hopeful the movie supplies a reason (beyond the bridges blown up in the trailer) why the U.S. military wouldn't just arrive in force and shoot Bane in the head. Maybe the whole city is wired to blow? Why would it matter if Bane has muscles and is good at fighting? We live in a…

I don't think he was a dick. Just kinda old school. He didn't put up with any crap.

In the trailers, I keep seeing shots of Bane standing in a crowded city square in broad daylight, in what appears to be the climactic scene of the movie. Presumably, this is after he has terrorized the city and killed lots of people. The police would just shoot him in the head, right? Why, oh, why is everyone just…

Certainly didn't mean to cause offense. I apparently did though.

I smiled at his "you do your research, boy!" comment, then very briefly thought, 'wait, is Will Harris black?' He's not? Oh, thank God.

I find myself genuinely saddened by this news even though I think I was too young to appreciate ‘The Andy Griffith Show.’ I always thought it was incredibly boring whenever I caught an episode in reruns. Still though, he was Matlock, and that has to count for something. Not to mention his turn as an armless…

For me, one of the all time great Dad movies. My Dad made me watch it with him on a Sunday afternoon when I was a kid. I was always grateful for 'The Sting' and 'The Great Escape' because they were the only two movies he liked to watch that I actually thought were good.
