Even with the weird staging, Broderick and Burrell got more gay action in that one scene than Cam and Mitchell have in the history of the show.

I was annoyed too, but then at the end they tied it in with her being depressed about being fired and feeling incompetent in general. The implication is that she was using PMS as an excuse to fail, which reinforced her sense of worthlessness. I'll accept that.

Plus no mention of Barney, who I believe just glommed onto Ted one night when they met at McLaren's.

The reason you can't do that is because humans have language, and when a new person wanted the banana, one of the others would say "Dude - don't pick up that banana - we will all get blasted with a fire hose!"

Root saw her friend get into the pedophile's car and told Martindale, the librarian. Martindale, because she was in love with the pedophile, proceeded to rip Root a new one, telling Root she was a horrible little girl spreading lies about a nice man and Root better keep her mouth shut. I only came here to point out that the intern not named Lauren is Adalind from Grimm, but now I'm also going to point out that this episode links what the interns are doing to serving the country, too. I don't think that the interns stay because of some sort of Will/Sorkin hero worship wish fulfillment (which is what…

Lily Tomlin started in season 4. The episode with Charlie's bar incident is well before that, in Season 1 IIRC.

I think you need to watch Season 6 again, because that's not what happens. No one asks Willow to use her magic except for Anya in one episode, and everyone else shouted her down.

Half-Sack was killed off because the actor wanted to leave the show, not because Sutter thought it was necessary for the story.
