It has nearly 30 tracks, so it's statistically more likely to come up. I also had to remove "People Let Me Get This Off My Chest", the Paul Stanley spoken word album, because it has, I think, over 70 tracks, so it came up all the time. And most of my music is pretty subtle, so between, for example, Moondog and Brian

I'll agree with that; "Clear Spot" is the one I listen to most often, followed by "Ice Cream for Crow". I finally removed "Trout Mask" from my ipod because it came up too often in shuffle mode, and most of the time I'm not in the mood for it.

I hated that Man on the Moon movie so goddamned much that I must've forgotten that they included the Fridays incident.

Second of the importance of Fridays as a showcase for musical guests. DEVO performed on three episodes. But the humor wasn't so hot. Nearly every sketch centered on recreational drug use, which got old pretty fast.

"I Walked with a Zombie" is one of the most lyrical and gorgeous films I've ever seen, but I don't notice much relation to Romero. Not the case with "Last Man on Earth". Many of the scenes look like Romero outtakes, they're so similar. And the part where Vincent Price reunites with his zombie-fied wife is about as

I saw it in the theater when I was 20 and thought it was bombastic and obnoxious. Reading this article makes me consider giving it another chance, but it's such a headache of a film. Maybe it would be tolerable if watched with the sound off, just to appreciate the admittedly gorgeous art direction, like "Speed Racer".

I strongly dislike everything about part two, and part three was so forgettable that I have no opinion of it at all.

I prune my hedges like Paul L. Smith in "Pieces".

By the standards of the average Fred Olen Ray film, you could do a lot worse than "Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers". It could even be my second favorite of his movies, right after "Beverly Hills Vamp" starring the inimitable Eddie Deezen.

Yeah. I think they all changed over to radio at around the same time. Plus drive-in theaters often functioned as flea markets during the day, so getting rid of the speaker holder post things facilitated that.

I like your story and all, but piping sound in via the radio has been standard at all drive-ins since the early 80's or so, and still is at the few surviving theaters. They didn't want to deal with the expense of maintaining window speakers, especially since so many people tended to drive away with them still attached

He also said something to the effect of "it dishonors my ancestors, but I'm not speaking for anyone else, just me",  without any sense of irony. That plus the fact that he hasn't and won't see the movie. Plus the fact that he made his last decent film at around the time that Quentin was still working as a video store

That's likely, which is why I used the term "reinterpretation". And Diskomo is good stuff, their second-most catchy tune after "Kaw-Liga".
