I must've read at least 20 Stephen King books as a kid, and the one I have the best memory of is "Carrie". Iiked the Bram Stoker-esque multiple points-of-view narrative supplied by multiple characters, something that can't be translated to film. And for sheer creep factor, nothing affected me more than "Pet Semetary".
