Almost done with Phillip K. Dick's Ubik. It's a great read. Dated in some of its technology descriptions but still a gripping story about (what I think is) heat death. Also couldn't help but notice at least two major Doctor Who plots were taken from or inspired by the story.
Mother Night is a little Vonnegut classic. I've said here and elsewhere that as you get older, Kurt seems less like a truth-teller and more like a troubled soul who can't embrace or forgive the complexity of the world. Mother Night, though, plays well to his worldview, I think, and makes for interesting reading…
In the spirit of the game, Myst the film will reach several dramatic high points and freeze as the CD struggles to load.
