wow, never noticed that, mindblown!
agreed. i don't know if it's on purpose or accidental, but somehow martin flipped all of my favorite characters over the course of books 3 through 5. when the series started, tyrion's chapters were my absolute favorites, followed closely by daenerys and most of the starks. now, other than stoneheart, i could give a…
for reals. so not looking forward to hours of some guy sensually rubbing his knives' tits.

how about grady tripp from wonderboys? the one michael chabon book i've ever liked/managed to finish. movie is quite enjoyable too, toby maguire is somehow not totally awful and robert downey jr. is great as always.
seriously. hats off.
totally agree, at first when i picked up affc and saw who the pov characters were (and even more importantly, who wasn't there) i had a major scare. i thought it was going to be awful, but turns out, it is my favorite book in the series as well. who knew that jaime and cersei would have some of the deepest and most…
i kept waiting for her to tell the slave to entertain her with a banana once she realized her control over the situation. "no slave, not like that. i want you to take that banana and stick it in your buttcrack. AND tell everyone you were born out of satan's ass."
@avclub-858b67085072a6f2403cf500871f4068:disqus , how can you call quentyn's storyline pointless? it's the biggest laugh in the entire series for me.
um, probably next week's episode?
oh, and she's a huge alcoholic. i got that joke the first time, when it was called being lucille bluth.
i don't think easy, casual racism and homophobic comments are particularly funny. it's how cheap the jokes are, that's what bothers me about her as a character. i have no problem with nasty, evil shit being funny, but at least be interesting and original. i pretty much know exactly what she is going to say anytime…
and how about toby and what's-her-face talking to both of them and saying how exhausting and awful it is to listen to them? talk about audience surrogates.
