Choices do matter.  Not necessarily in the final 3 minutes of the game, but everything up to that - what characters and races live of dies, etc.

Kick-Ass the movie is about 800 million times better than the comic.  Most of that is due to The Great Nic Cage.

Surprised there was no mention of Waters until this far into the comments (or the review itself!).  The guy wrote Heathers, Demolition Man, and Batman Returns (hugely underrated camp screenplay), Hudson Hawke and Ford Fairlaine (depending on how you feel about those last two).  He should be an A.V. club icon.
