Did I miss what happened to the Biologist (Milburn)? After he begged the alien snake to eat his face, it complies, and the Geologist falls face first into the black ooze after inhaling his acid-melted face-mask.  The find the Geologist's body and it attacks them, but what happened to the Biologist or whatever ate him?

Also, I'm pretty sure the finale is gonna have Korra going all Avatar-State to stop Amon from taking her bending.  Aang did it to save his life or those of his friends, which I'm sure Korra is concerned about, but I think Korra's biggest fear would be to lose her power.
