I understand that developers like the lower levels of stress and workload that come with those short-burst games, but like you, I just can't get into any of them.

After the atrocious writing and story of Star Ocean: 'Til the End of Time, I left the series. I don't think the continuation of these will entice me to return anytime soon. The Tales series has the same basic structure in the battle system, yet the story, characters, and voice acting in those games are always far

Yes, but the Gamecube controller had a slightly better feel due to its staggered button placement (and the Wii version is the best by far). The problem is that the control scheme of RE4 is FIVE years old. If Capcom doesn't care to update its games to better control schemes for action/horror games (see Dead Space),

I Respectfully Dissent
This game is one of the most ecstatic, over-top fun games I've played in a while. Alongside No More Heroes, Valkyria Chronicles, and Professor Layton, it represents the evolution of both style and substance (in gameplay and story) in games not only on the Wii, but consoles in general. It is

Unfortunately, you have so little that you're missing letters.

Also, I'll add that I was obsessed with the Sonic Youth's Death Valley '69 for about three years straight.

It's just so good
House of the Rising Sun by the Animals. The raspy, nearly broken vocals are a testament to just how much love the Animals had for their music.

The Wii one tried to add too many units to the mix. It became hard to care about all of the characters, and the lack of a direct support system like the other Fire Emblems was a very bad development decision. Nonetheless, it was fun, and added a few new things I really liked (like a three-tier leveling system).

I agree. While I'm not gonna sit here and call them great or anything, they sure as hell don't deserve some huge backlash. Sure, Stadium Arcadium and most of their early stuff was crappy, but if you don't at least enjoy Under the Bridge on some level, you may need to tone down the hipster rage.

And there it is
The third best movie on the list of Best Picture nominees wins…

It was him or Mickey Rourke, and either were great choices.

My Attention
Keeps drifting to Robert Pattinson behind Mickey Rourke. It's such a funny image.

Best Actress
I know we all love Kate Winslet, but god, The Reader was awful. Why not give it to an actress for an ACTUAL performance, like Anne Hathaway or Melissa Leo?

The Tech Awards
I wish they would go into more depth on these sometimes. I know they aren't as glamorous, but some of the things these people do better than the actors in the movie.

No, your complete shit for insulting a man's integrity because he didn't give a huge thumbs up to the game you want to love more than your mother.

Meh, they became accessories to the plot being driven forward, to be disposed of with no explanation, because that's what bad writers like to do.

You end up re-watching the same basic plot develop over the next two seasons.
