I thought it was pretty clear (I'm not saying that I'm right, I'm just surprised that people viewed this scene so differently) that the problem was that Simmons was trying to fill a specific pattern in their life.

I have a fun theory that they're both really fucked up, and took part in beating up the younger brother together. The well was the culmination of this practice, at which point — instead of coming up with a joint cover story — they essentially turned on each other and have been antagonistic, and a little bit

Oooh, can Maximus have a relationship with a woman that involves aggressive erotic hate poetry? His own Lady Caroline Lamb if you will?

Haha, I was thinking the same thing.

It's definitely better than Arrow is now in my opinion.

By not watching Arrow, his review of Flash comes from a different perspective compared to yours, not an inferior one. A television show needs to be able to stand on its own, and so the notion that Scott needs to watch Arrow is fundamentally flawed. Audiences are allowed to watch only one show.

I'm fine with it, and by the looks of it most people here aren't really bothered by it. Why are you?

It was a joke that really didn't land at all, and involved me implying that Daredevil is actually a naked guy who glues horns to his head, paints himself red, and then runs around the city fighting crime.

Heh, I enjoyed all of that.

It will probably be covered there too, but I'll be shocked if Skye isn't either an Inhuman or part Kree.

"Hey guys, they just found a case of ebola in New York, looks like we can stop putting out fires for a while!"

I think I heard somewhere that the Cap people — I don't know which ones — were interested in MODOK but couldn't figure out how to not make it cartoony yet. I do think it would work well in a less grounded story stream, but Cap seems a bit too serious for it to be viable. If they somehow made MODOK a reasonable thing

Aw shit, they don't have Annihilus? There goes my hopes for an Annihilation adaptation, unless they do Conquest, which I would only love a lot.

Red paint doesn't breathe well?

Wolverine fought with Cap. Wolverine is generally written as pretty loyal to Cap, although that could be because they were functionally the liberal members on the respective axes of their communities' leadership (Cap vs. Tony/Illuminati; Wolverine vs. Cyclops)

Inhumans only really sounds like a mistake if X-Men does, continuing that the Marvel Comics are already taking big steps in that direction.

Lockjaw4EverWoof!

I really like this post's last paragraph. Great catch.

Shakespeare retired in 1613 due to his wealth; actors were well-paid and Shakespeare was a dedicated investor. He also partook in tax evading and hoarding grain to drive up prices.

No. But he has discovered some vital information on the differences between white people and black people that he needs to make the public aware of.
