Calgary can redeem itself by not giving Stephen Harper another term as MP.

I honestly don't think that the average person has seen Breaking Bad. And I especially don't think that the average Canadian has.

Is that Michael Angel from O-town?

@Shadow_play:disqus, I can get on board with @avclub-aa8199204bbd84f584fe5957410e9e71:disqus's description, but not yours.

I got really far into the Drizzt books. Like 12 books in or so (to the point where he's fighting some Ogres or somesuch). I eventually realized that I was essentially reading in order to try and recapture the enjoyment that I had originally felt while reading the original Icewind Dale stuff.

Dragons of Summer Flame is very good, but "onward" is… less so. Actually, I'm getting angry just thinking about the contrived way that its follow-up trilogy ended. Find me in a few months so we can bitch about it together!

Raistlin is like none of those people. For one, he's not the Raistlin the protagonist of Chronicles. For two, nobody thinks he's "an eccentric genius", they think he's a nihilist madman. And for three, by the time the twins trilogy rolls around, he's actively become a powermad threat.

Oooh, cross-universe robot AU slashfic!

I enjoy how the comic book industry is still ridiculously niche and cut-throat, while it's also spawned and is maintaining some of the most lucrative sets of media properties in film and tv today. It's the business equivalent of when a small sick child's inspirational struggle inspires those around them to achieve

I kind of liked the Swan just because of how batshit crazy it was, without ever really hiding that it was batshit crazy. To an extent, I kind of feel that the outcry was more "don't reveal that this is a vibrant and active industry!" thing so much as a "this show is horrible" thing. If it was the latter, wouldn't

Who told you about my eczema!? Who!!?

Now that you've admitted to your own corruption, I will never trust you with my dark secrets!

I've lived on Drury Lane before! It's in Central London. Quite a nice little street.

Body-shamer!

Ugh, that's terrifying.

The First Rule of Tumblr: As soon as someone comes up with a socially problematic interpretation of a something, it becomes the only valid interpretation of that something.

"Every week, someone, presumably in the US, quips "Hey, look! Canadians watch the same shitty shows as us!"

I assumed that they all knew he wasn't Harry. So what happened, this woman told a producer that she figured it out and they removed her before she could tell anyone?

I kind of feel that Meer was handicapped compared to Hale; MShep is far more consistently very buttoned-up than FemShep was, which makes me think they limited his expressiveness.

What? Mark Meer was great in ME. Do you just not like how he sounds?
