The Monarchy is not meaningless dammit. It's useful as a means of separating a head of government (Prime Minister) from controlling a nation's "symbolic capital".

Ultimate Marvel has lots of permanent deaths because they have stricter rules about resurrection over there… So far the MCU looks to be taking after the 616 though.

"One of TV’s most expensive shows too frequently looked like a children’s series imported from Canada in the 1990s."

The reviews are a bit off-kilter because "the internet" watches the Canadian airing, while critics write for the American airing. io9 has some pretty good Continuum content, but if you watch the Canadian airings you'll have to wait a while for it.

I love Gillan's attempts to sound American in the Selfie promo. She's a wonderful actress, but that part isn't working.

He actually started off charging up a variety of things, and then for some reason the writers just dropped everything in favour of him usually only ever charging the cards.

D*************************mn we got a bada** motherf***ing c***f***er right here motherf***ers. D*** son you h*rd c*re what Whaaaa**at!

"Use your Gambit well, and people will throw their money at your movie and its bi-products."

Continuum has far better visuals. I could watch Kiera and Garza punch each other all day!

Re: Arrow.

"I am not saying [shame these fucking assholes] whatsoever.""Make it clear that they need to improve"

Wonderful comment.

Fat is an adjective used to describe people with a nonspecific amount of fat on their body relative to a media-created image of the ideal. It is associated with poverty at the demographic level, and works to create positive and negative social capitals for the rich and poor respectively.

I really enjoyed the last episode, and liked the season a lot, but it weirdly seems like a complete series after just a single season.

I'll get us off to an early poor start!

But that's what I mean… You don't have to watch Alien and say "this comes after Prometheus". An author gave you a story for what comes beforehand, but it's your decision whether or not to accept it as part of the overall story that you want to consume.

Will you be my new mother?

I'm sure it will do a great job stopping hardened Occupy Protesters as well then.

They have Ketchup chips in Britain (where I am now living), but you can tell that it's something they're not completely comfortable with. From an online shop:

YES.
The notion that someone can "ruin" a story retroactively is ridiculous. Audiences can choose to end the story at whatever point they wish.
