The damages are certainly curious, but given that Fox was awarded how many millions? of dollars from that one guy for leaking a movie online pre-release, it seems like "let's just make a random guess about the costs of this thing and claim it's a lot" is now a valid legal strategy.

Good. Because I was really getting sick of how, whenever she was off-screen, everyone would just stand around asking "where's Tracy??"

As @avclub-b31378bbfb701dc33efdb269aa01e844:disqus says, it's literally about the idea of "this looks too good to eat!" You've gotta make a choice. Either keep the pretty cake looking pretty or eat it the damn thing.

I would strongly argue that the "structured narrative" approach is more valid. A story is a structured narrative, it is not real life, and therefore validating it based on the former makes much more sense than the latter.

Yesterday I asked if Remedy was any good, and then I went ahead and just watched it… It's quite good! Like Downton Abbey in a hospital!

Yeah… I chose control. And now my Shep is a GUARDIAN OF THE GALAXY.

THANK YOU. My American friends make fun of me every time I say "about" by saying "aboot", and I've always thought to myself "it definitely sounds far more like I'm saying "aboat" than "aboot".
Now that you've externally validated my opinion I can die in peace!

Canadians have a long history of doing this to artists. For isntance, it was once announced that my hometown of Halifax, Nova Scotia, would be getting a Celine Dion concert…

I was really hoping to see Gillian Jacobs' name beside PFT's.

I thought that the extended cut somewhat justified the Starchild choice by having that Catalyst actually act like an impetuous child.

Is Remedy any good?

Re: Your last question.

She wasn't "defending two mass-murderer vampires" so much as she was "giving into Elena's peer pressure", after resisting getting involved. I get the feeling that people remember this seen as involving her straight up murdering two dudes, when it was far more of a "hectic combat" situation:

Or it is. Whatever.

"Caroline having trouble killing Tom versus killing 12 witches (who were initially trying to help Bonnie.) Same thing, no? It wasn't that long ago and she didn't suffer longer than a minute about that one."

I don't know anything about Hannibal beyond the show. Do you like Red Dragon the book or the movie? Would reading/watching these make me appreciate the show more?

Didn't she fail to kill him for reasons of wanting to gloat, super-villain style?

So let me get this straight:

It's not Oliver's place to tell Thea, it's his mother's. And if Oliver thinks that its in their best interests to keep Thea in the dark, that's pretty much a "he's an expert and the only one with the perspective and authority to make that call" situation, so I've gotta disagree on him needing to reveal his identity to
