Danger Zone!

I can't watch any scene with Tessa without thinking that I'm seeing The Shiva go off the deep end. It's pretty great.

Agreed. This show's willingness to have its characters act like horrible is a good thing. None of them have been appointed by destiny to save the world, and they're all monsters, so it makes for a better show when things play out in acknowledgement of that.

I'm not a fan of the Fox pitch, but between "ex-cult" and "Ellie Kemper", this one sounds great!

Aw fuckit. I'm a 25 year old man. I'm going to watch this airing, and I'm probably going to cry. This episode is without a doubt one of the most meaningful pieces of media that I have ever experienced. It is probably the first story that ever made me empathize with "adult life" when I was a child, and… the idea that

This doesn't bother me in the least. The show has done a great job portraying itself as being about power machinations as much as violence, and I don't exactly watch West Wing thinking "there's no drama here because I know that the President isn't going to die."

It had to be 12 for a specific thing, for a specific form of witch magic. These witches are already established to use a different form of juju. Either way, I'll be deeply disappointed if things go in the direction of The Harvest being portrayed as a good thing.

No good reason? Chefs receive an education like everyone else, and a lot of them receive that education in culinary schools that rely on animal fats or proteins. Unless they have specific motivation to be interested in vegetarian cooking, it's quite reasonable that it's a skill they won't have mastered.

Wow.

I thought that this was a pretty good episode… I'm a bit concerned about where Plec will take the witches though, because even if their kids come back to life, that entire thing was not cool, and if that's what they need to keep their powers then they don't deserve them.

Paget Brewster you say…? My do I ever wish Paul F Tomkins would be accompanying her in this guest spot.

I've never seen Modern Family, but I thought "being progressive to the point of cliche" was all it was good at?

The first thing I thought when I saw the article picture was "Paul Rudd is delightful!"

And produced while the author and Byron were hanging out with the Shelleys no less. Frankenstein's monster created on one the hand, Lord Ruthven on the other… That was quite the holiday those chaps had, setting up the foundations of our modern superhuman canon and all that.

If TSN wants it, then people must care about it, since TSN/Bell is all about making stacks of maple-scented money.

Lord Ruthven.

As is your right sir! More people like you are needed so idiots can stop asking for long-running shows to be cancelled because they for some reason require television producers to mediate stories for them.

Lisa is a Buddhist.

I feel like the problem is one of charisma… Mindy's isn't a charismatic character, and charisma is what makes most "terrible characters" interesting to watch. Without it… They're y can easily become vexing.

Part of the issue with that is Pally's comedic genius at pulling off the "charming asshole" character. Few other actors who can match him in that role, and as much as I think Kaling is a good performer, she isn't one of them. He's just super-good at what he does.
