@avclub-df723a364b70e18bb8fa82dcbcc2db91:disqus , there's also the common variant for anyone who watches Asian music videos "Omg K-Pop is so great (jpop sux). I want 2 move there some day, all we have here is crap like Taylor Swift." [K-pop variant]

No, 99% of comments will still be "X brought me here!"

This man's political history is fascinating stuff.  He's a big fan of the ruling party and even holds a minor political office.

I don't know what's happened there, but he's been allowed back in. He's starring in an upcoming sitcom here and they've already finished filming.

p.s., the homepage refers to this episode as the New Girl "finale".

@avclub-011d0b4fe6835bb3d37ef4e0ea713de6:disqus , you're right, dumping him on the spot would have worked far better.

But shows can live up to their hype. Happy Endings always did… *sniff*
REMEMBER WHEN ALEX AND DAVE GOT STUCK IN THEIR BATHROOM!?

I don't know that is true to Schmidt though?  Everyone seems to be saying it is because "he's Schmidt", but I feel like that line could literally be given to any of the hapless characters on this show: Which is all of them.

I recently watched Safety Not Guaranteed, and I now think that Jake Johnson is one of the top-5 comedic actors working today. That guy completely inhabits his roles to a very rare degree.

Dollhouse is not a good show in either of its seasons, so I disagree.
It has great season finales though.

@avclub-c26473f2f4772a2a52e4690515ce6e75:disqus , I don't follow any sort of internet social justice warrior group, but aren't you sort of lumping MRAs into a single, overgeneralized category?

Is that what this is actually about though?  The AV Club description seems to be "this is a show about disenfranchised men, therefore it is in league with the shitty shows that are about disenfranchised men."

You can watch the pilot for Trophy Wife on Hulu right now.  It's pretty good; the main thing they need to improve the voiceovers they give to Akerman, which for some reason seem to be exempt from the "comedy" part of the show.

This show used a similar narrative device that Chuck did for the resolution of the man characters' will-they/won't-they:

So its okay to eat fish, but its not okay to eat birds that eat fish? Is it okay to eat fish that eat other fish (like Tuna)?

I'm just going to sit here and flag you a bunch now.

He's 56 years old.

re: Seth Green

I just assumed by the name and timeslot that it would be exploitative.
