She's called Ogopogo.

Huh, I hadn't heard about him being in trouble with anyone. It can't be that bad, since CTV gave him a new sitcom for this fall (called "Spun Out").
I didn't listen to the video, but Massive Attack is trip-hop, and they're great.
@Patrick_Batman:disqus , I was being somewhat facetious, and largely agree with you.
In seriousness, I merely think that people should take measures to limit their possible exposure to victimhood when it's easily practical for them to do so. After the event, I realized that it would have been totally reasonable of me…
Definitely go with "fear everyone." Because "assume the best of everyone" does not work.
@avclub-a14343d7aea171bddd5aa6b80e500fd3:disqus , in all the schools around me, Valedictorian was a position that people auditioned for. Candidates required excellent grades, excellent extra-curriculars, and the ability to be a compelling speaker for the Valedictory Address.
@avclub-c156902f5b20b572848be18c11634dfb:disqus , They did that with Kelly over her maternity leave flip-flop. Still, Jon seems to have more respect for her, and sometimes highlights when she shuts down another Fox News pundit/anchor over a legal issue.
Ah yes, I totally forgot about that. God I wish I lived in Toronto… just for that weekend.
Oliver's opening segment was some of the best Daily Show that I've seen in ages. I don't watch the interviews either.
I@avclub-e56ced79d1049a08025835434a572e01:disqus , The reality is that something said drunkenly on a podcast needs to be interpreted differently than an official pronouncement to the media. Context matters when interpreting speech.
I'm not sure where the "Austra has doubled in size" thing is coming from. It was produced in assistance with Mike Haliechuck from Fucked Up, and uses backing vocals from Sari Lightman of Tasseomancy, but it's still a three-piece band.
Because a criminal offence that endangers lives is totally comparable to someone being impolite.
In Canada, CTV is promoting the heck out of their upcoming sitcom "Satisfaction" across all of their channels (CTV2, Space, Much, Comedy, etc)… But they aren't showing any footage during the promos. Instead, they just show the principle cast jumping excitedly on a chesterfield.
As long as MJ calls Peter "Petey-O" at least once in the next three movies, I will be okay with this.
Watch The fucking Descendants man. It's very well-written and expertly paced. Clooney fucks up his climactic moment, but the rest is great, and Clooney's fuck-up is covered-up by Judy Greer being absolutely amazing mere seconds earlier.
@Nudeviking:disqus , she's married to Raine Maida, OLP's frontman.
Because the content of a performed joke is more than just the words.
@Rocketpilot:disqus ,
THE AV CLUB
A Circle-Jerk of Resounding Outrage
I'm surprised that he's not going to Toronto…
