Yeah, I felt the feels from the Stefon sketch…  We're all ridiculous.

That was amazing.  Combined with a fantastic turn from Kanye, that was a total "A" episode for me.  Not every sketch nailed it, but the strong moments were strong enough that they made-up for any downers.

If River and the Tardis are linked, that could certainly explain why the Tardis doesn't like Clara.

What did it for me was when Sarah walked in as Beth. I thought "we haven't seen that actress for a while", before realizing "no, wait, she's literally in almost every scene."   The physicality of how Maslany played Beth in those scenes really got to me.

You aren't using the word "genocide" correctly.  Causing the extinction of a nearly-dead race is not genocide.  It's a common mistake about the word.

She's not though?  By revealing her actions diegetically, rather than explicitly showing them, the show ensured that the integrity of previous plots remained intact.
