I like that Marshall's enthusiasm line for charts somehow went up and down marginally. I fully expected it to stay constant—I wonder what led to the fluctuations? Time for another chart?

A great Raj episode
I really liked Raj in this episode. I think the character quirk of not being able to talk around women limits his lines when Penny (sans alcohol) is around—so them being mutually exclusive was a good thing. I loved "If you want to improve your karma, get my freaking latte." One of many

Or maybe barely changed Marvel supervillians…Galactis, Beyondor, Dark Phenix, etc.

Shhh, Kyle. You can't talk about sports here, it startles the natives.

Chris Pratt is definitely the funniest part of the show. I hope that they move Leslie away from being the governmental version of Michael Scott. I didn't think that this was a recycled-plot, but Leslie's reactions seem to be very similar to what I would imagine Michael Scott would do in a similar situation. Don't

Questionable Social Networking
The Pawnee pit site reminds me of the social networking aspect of Dunder-Mifflin Infinity that allowed all of those sex-offenders troll for action.

Ah, Skittle-Brau.

I'll buy that, Noel. I also think, that if you're going to get caught up in a competition/reality show, Idol is probably the best of the bunch. At least there's innocent hope of success involved, unlike anything on VH1 or MTV.

Agreed jenny—I hardly think making a comment-board supposition counts as a best effort to derail a game show contestant. I think Noel could probably do worse if he were so inclined…being a towering figure in the media elite, that is.

I've never been in an amateur band—so I don't have that level of criticism—but I've watched enough Fox shows that come on after American Idol to see the re-caps of the singers and get a general idea of why I dislike the show. I just don't understand the appeal of it, as everytime I've run into the a re-cap, everyone

Mmmm…beer nuts.

Boom, you're roasted!

It was suspensful, but probably the worst CGI that's been on Fringe thus far. I think Fringe has done a pretty good job with effects, but man, that fake Baraka mouth from Mortal Kombat looked really bad.

I'm suspecting it's a countdown. I think that "SEVEN" will appear in one of the next two episodes. Countdown to what is the question.

"Looks like he's thinking with the head of his weiner instead of the head of his brain." Agreed—totally hilarious stoner-esque comment.

I've liked Val Kilmer in several roles—I especially like Heat. However, saying that your method acting makes you understand a person better than that person does themselves—it's just stupid. Not critizing the acting as much as the actor. Kind of like what Amelie is doing here.

Not a film, but Band of Brothers on HBO was one of the most historically accurate portrayals of World War II.

No need to be shamed, Fritz-Poo. I assumed that you were engaging in ribald punniness.

@Lavoris — sorry if that was the implication there. Like I said above, I do appreciate acting as an artform. And it's unfortunate that so many people associate big-budget, sit-in-your-trailer-all-day movie making with actual acting, but it seems that Hollywood is completely fine propogating that stereotype.

@Hoodwink - I agree completely. I think it's human nature to try to look for a reason behind a death such as Ledger's. Unfortunatley, though, trying to link his death with the Dark Knight does no service to anyone, as it avoids the tough issues that need to be explored regarding mental illness, addiction, and our
