Sherlock Holmes and the Secret Weapon was the one I was thinking of. It's one of those Rathbone/Bruce movies.

You guys are making good points. I guess I just assume in a superhero movie the director approves of whatever the superhero is doing unless it's really made obvious they're making a mistake, but Nolan could be doing something more subtle than that.
Good point.
What's the movie where he is decoding a secret code sent from the Nazis to Moriarty in WWII? I'm not going to even pretend I don't like that movie.
What was with that guy he shoved away? Did he think they were still playing or something?
It's not a good sign if Nolan is making the villain the person complaining about his riches and making the hero the rich person. Given his pretty-conservative position (if I remember right Dark Knight was a liiiiittle bit fascist) I can see him ignoring that position.
I didn't even enjoy the Tron 2 trailer, but I watched it a bunch of times in bootleg form because I loved everyone getting so excited so much.
Since apparently Batman's growl was made growlier by Nolan in post-, it's probably not a good sign.
No, I'm pretty sure you're right, Nielson was Ra's all along.
Bastardization? I dunno, the first Sherlock movie was closer in a lot of ways than most recent portrayals.
Who else is really annoyed at the line "the end of the Dark Knight legend"? It's not like they invented Batman or anything.
Well, since a: that's pretty widely considered a racist character and b: the actor who played him wrote a book in which he said that Jerry kept telling him to play it "more ethnic" and that he thought the character was offensive, I think you just might not be very sensitive to stereotypes. The humor doesn't have to be…
Can you give me an example of a review where he unreasonably complains about political correctness? (I'm genuinely curious, I'm not calling you a liar or something.)
She/he's been doing this for TWO YEARS. That's amazing.
I'll give that a shot. It's a good idea, I imagine the genre would be fun if it wasn't all made by people trying to goddamn hard to be high energy.
Whaddya have against Sims' reviews? I haven't read too many of them.
Sorry, but if someone likes something I don't like they're clearly only doing it for street cred.
If you've never seen the original When a Stranger Calls it's worth seeing, just from a plot structure perspective. So weird.
This is different than the The Hole about all the kids locked in the bunker, right?
I can't tell, is that Green Man on the left?
