Why do you care so much about continuity? We're talking about a show that used to kill one of the main characters every episode and then he'd be good as new each time the next week. Just enjoy it as is.

Yeah he's kind of become a dickhead at the challenges. His "THIS IS NO PICNIC" line to Dawn was not necessary.

Agreed the uniqueness of his character makes it interesting. I can't remember a true "tortured soul" edit before the show..unless someone has a better memory than I. I recall Colby having an internal battle between good and evil in his first season but that was tame compared to this.

Brandon is definitely the most unique Survivor they've had on the show in a while. He's like some tortured soul…who clearly has a demonic evil side (ala his uncle) but wants to come off as some holier than thou born again Christian. It's been a while since we've had a character development this interesting on

Amen…couldn't have said it better myself. This is a really good classic sitcom. It's a delicious PB&J sandwich - nothing crazy and innovative, just basic entertainment. But haters are gonna hate…especially when a show wins a bunch of Emmy's. I'm sure Frasier got a lot of hate back in the day when it was beating out

My first reaction was "Whoa, they SORAS'ed Lily." It took me an episode to get used to the new Lily but by the second half hour I liked her.

Who the hell ever says it's as a revolutionary groundbreaking sitcom? Was there some crazy big article in The New Yorker that I missed? Jesus…no one has ever said that. It's a really good classic sitcom with a gay couple - (that's about as "groundbreaking" as it gets).

That's crazy talk. Taxi, Frasier and Seinfeld still hold up in so many ways it's crazy. There's a reason why Seinfeld is still all over syndication and people who weren't alive during its hey day love the show. People need to get over the "multi-cam = not funny" mentality in my opinion. There are definitely set backs

Am I the only straight guy on here that doesn't really care if Kat Dennings has big boobs? This show was pretty bad. If you guys want to watch a bad show with hot girls, just watch The Playboy Club or something.

Spot on. I honestly can't remember the last time I laughed that hard.

Community is good but people on AVClub definitely overrate it.

Wood is really good in this show. I don't think the show itself is amazing…but I think he's pretty good. I love the way he delivered the line, "Who takes a 9 year old to a pole dancing class?"

So every time
I make a comment about how I don't think Community is the greatest thing since sliced bread…I'll get flagged? AWESOME.

Haha I watched this thinking "God I hate Eagleton more than any other fake neighboring town since Shelbyville." Love Lemon of Troy. I guess I'll add to the quoting of that epic episode.."Rocky V plus Rocky II equals Rocky VII - Adrian's Revenge!"

This show has definitely vaulted to the top of Thursday night and might be the best sitcom on right now IMO. Flu Season and Media Blitz were brilliant. No show knows how to use their characters better than this one. I watched Eagleton thinking "That IS Ron's perfect birthday."
