How long did you spend cutting and capitalizing these letters?

The article and editorial based on this interview are appropriately scathing. I guess the interviewer was smiling and going along with it in the interests of not getting kicked out of the room.

I mean, even if I'm right, the fact that Trump had never even heard of the concept of stimulus spending before a couple of days ago is incredibly worrying.

Oh god, yeah. Someone once called Obama "keynesian" in Trump's hearing and he thought they'd said "Kenyan", and now Trump is President.

In fairness to Trump (not that anyone should be fair to Trump) he probably meant to say "came across" rather than "came up with".

I also love the bit immediately following the quote:

Sean doesn't mention the absolute best exchange from that interview:

I'm not convinced she's not a character.

But how do you feel about this shit?

Given that this house is in Canada, that should be Parliament instead of Congress.

Just so long as they never show what singing karaoke is really like.

It was great but I couldn't help wondering why it was daytime in all of those places around the world.

I high-fived him at Pride in 2015 (me and half of Toronto). He had probably the softest hands I've ever touched.

Ah, that makes more sense to me. I thought I must have been missing something.

But the skeezy Australian guy said he was on blockers when he met Riley, right? That would suggest that you can connect, though not visit, while on blockers.

I didn't see the apostrophe when I first read the headline and thought they were calling him shameless for taking the role.

"Both sides", like, pro and con internment camps?

Well, yeah, that's what I mean. The story was used to stoke people's fears of immigrants (and the children of immigrants), which is not what's needed in the US right now.
