Yeah, "Spy" was an OK-to-middling-good Bond movie. It was kind of a rewrite of Thunderball, though.

That I can't get behind. I DESPISE everything about Octopussy. I might even say it is the worst Bond movie. Yes, even worse than Die Another Day.

I covered this earlier and agree. I'm always glad to find someone else who loves TMP. It had a cool trippy feeling that none of the later movies successfully re-captured. I think it's hated now by people who have been brought up on zap-zap-bang-bang, 100-cuts-a-second movies, and have no attention span for a movie

It's the best Moore Bond film, I'll give it that. Partly because it was the only one where he was taking it seriously, and not turning Bond into a slapstick comedy.

I liked Eccleston a lot. I've soured on him, though, since he refused to return for the 50th anniversary. I realize he didn't have a great time on the show, but Christ, would it have been so bad to come back just once, for the fans? All the people he didn't like working with were gone by that point anyway. If you

What blows my mind is that Kirk defeats Khan by the guileful, cunning trick of…realizing they're flying around in three dimensions and sneaking up behind him. WTF? Really, that's his genius maneuver? I feel like that sequence was just playing to tropes, given what the VIEWERS would expect on screen, and how they've

The best Sylvester McCoy story by far was "Remembrance of the Daleks". His run was hit-or-miss, but that story kicked so much ass it left a flaming, boot-shaped crater in the anal cavity. Also, it introduced two things that were later copied in the Ninth Doctor story "Dalek": 1) A Dalek climbing stairs, and 2) The

I just recently listened to REM's entire discography on Spotify, after having only been a casual fan, and not heard ANYTHING they did after the late '90s. I was very surprised to find out that Around the Sun was my favorite album. Every song on it just sounded beautiful and inspired, and I had previously heard none of

The first two MGS games were the only ones I ever played. I liked both. I felt like MGS2 was meant to be a giant mindfuck on obsessive fans of the first one who pored over every detail in that game, and was intentionally trying to take the piss out of those people. I enjoyed that.

Trip was good, but god, Archer was a fucking moron. He made me think of George W. Bush in space. Maybe when you're making first contact with a new species, it would be a good idea to not let your dog piss on their lawn, asshole.

Enterprise was better than that sack of shit Voyager, I'll give it that. At least, the last two seasons of Enterprise were watchable. The first two were pretty terrible.

Yeah. I can deal with unpopular opinions, but that's one I simply cannot take seriously.

I think as Beatles albums go, Sgt. Pepper's is less brilliant than Rubber Soul, Revolver, Magical Mystery Tour, the White Album, AND Abbey Road. Yes, I'm putting it sixth among Beatles albums, deal with it. Sgt. Pepper's isn't BAD, but it's far overrated as a Beatles album. Too much Paul gloppiness and not enough rock

Anyone recall the Hannibal Buress bit where he said that Hulk Hogan is the only white man who can call him brother, because he calls everyone brother?

THANK YOU. I wish I could upvote you times a million, because some of these dense people will never get it.

I never bought the "He's old/from a different generation" excuse with regard to bigotry. It's a lazy, lame excuse. Old people are not incapable of learning, or observing the changes occurring in the world around them, and as I age, I will continue to do both. Frankly, I find the insinuation that a person's mentality

My reaction to the illicit recording is the same as it was for Donald Sterling. Yes, it was wrong to record the conversation in the first place, but oh well, now that it's heard, it can't be unheard. Give the recording party a slap on the wrist, but we can't just pretend we didn't hear the racist statements, and

I hate how people still say "sex TAPE". I'm pretty sure nobody has watched any kind of tape in at least 15 fucking years. I'm pretty sure none of the videos in question, if made any time recently, are in fact tapes, or were ever on any kind of tape at any point.

To be fair, he did say it was eight years ago, and it was. It's possible people can change significantly in eight years. Not saying he did, but he could have. He said "I'm sorry I said some horrible things eight years ago", and nothing about that isn't on the level.

Have conservatives started complaining about his free speech yet? (because WWE is the government)
