I think the prison thing could just be the Speed Force making Barry pay for his mistakes.

At the same time it has been the highest rated show on the network since it premiered and he's just as significant at this point as Oliver and Amell. So I could see an extension contractually for him at least.

I mean don't know about Grant, but I know Amell is contracted till at 2019 I believe. Considering Barry's importance in the overall verse and the show's ratings, I think it's gotta be at least five years for Grant.
