The second sentence of this is really bizarre. Are characters in zombie shows/movies supposed to know about what has or hasn't worked for survival in other zombie shows/movies?

I'm a huge fan of the show but this was glorious. I don't care about that spoiler either, in fact I was glad to have the confirmation.

GoT seems to be getting a fair amount of hate around here lately. Obviously it has flaws, and hell I enjoy poking a little fun at them myself, but overall the show fuckin' rules and everyone knows it, and is going to watch.

I think a few individual episodes have no Dorne

"What did his interacting with Dany accomplish?" He joined her team, and now he's pretty much running things while she's away.
It's true Varys revealed himself to be a big fan, and he didn't get shit on as much in S5, but after years of the way Cersei & Tywin treated him I don't think the show made it so everyone

well, yeah, I wouldn't call it a problem though. we can talk about our respective opinions. I'm actually interested in hearing more about the scene blending bit, since I don't quite follow right now

I'd have to re-read his ADWD chapters, and that sounds awful. I'll just say interacting w/ Varys & Dany >>>>> interacting w/ JonCon, Aegon, etc..

"The episodes all blended into one scene after the next…" - not sure what this means exactly or why it's bad

naw, Roose is the shit! well…no, not really. But Michael McElhatton is.

Dorne was bad, but being more faithful to book-Dorne wouldn't have helped. Jaime+Cersei was S4 (yes it was bad, but not a strike against S5). I thought most changes were good or neutral, Tyrion's arc in particular was much better than in ADWD

other aspects of this aside…safe? the show was never more controversial than it was last year

ah sshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhitt.

Just total fuckin silence, man; two can play at that game smart guy. We'll just see how you like it.

curious what Mike D's set will be like. would "Remote Control" and the first third of "Three Minute Rule" be fair game?

did anyone age much apart from Joseph? Cotton died I guess.

mmm hmm

Disagree (with the second part), there are some classic episodes in late seasons.

Your mother is so ugly, it affects her self-esteem!

I love Leviathan but Blood Mountain is my favorite as well (also my first). I think it's probably a matter of which album you heard first for most people, they're both classic though.

Huh, I just finished season 1 last night. I really enjoyed it. 1940s setting is very well done, it has just the right amount of camp value, and Atwell & D'Arcy are just so gosh-darn delightful.
