I *completely* agree with you. She is a character created in an improv class. A *good* improv class - but an improv class nonetheless. She doesn't fit at all with the tone of the series, and I agree she is too manic to be believable, but I mean I still enjoy her alright. :-P

Hmmmmm - this is a good question. A person's looks contributes to his/her funniness. So the show probably wouldn't be as funny/relatable/believable with a Hollywood hot chick in  Hannah's role.
