"Heavy Metal Drummer" was a Josh pick. (I did Arthur Russell's "Let's Go Swimming" that week.) But thanks!
Oh yeah, I like Steve Earle too. There were some local, country-ish guys I liked when I lived in Austin. Dale Watson comes to mind.
I like some of the older country stuff: Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Merle Haggard, Conway Twitty, Willie Nelson, The Louvin Brothers, Kris Kristofferson, George Jones, Patsy Cline, etc. Pretty much anything made in the last 30 years, though, I can't stand.
The comment section isn't *that* bad.
Hey, I'm only responsible for Thursdays.
Too late.
Strike that. Reverse it.
You should watch the movie Goodfellas sometime.
No, I'm pretty sure they're there to hear his new single, "I Still Still Believe."
Ha, I wish I had a Tim Cappello poster!
I like jazz. I regularly listen to Coltrane, Eric Dolphy, Sonny Rollins, etc. Doesn't mean that this isn't one of the best sax riffs ever created.
Those are indeed great, but they're more solos than hooks.
If I did that, what would commenters have to talk about?
It ran on ABC, but it's owned by CBS.
Yes, sorry. SORRY. Fixed.
You're right, that does sound like a good news item for MediaMatters.org.
Cool, sounds like you had a fun weekend.
Instead of answering, I'm just going to let you tire yourself out.
Just one glass so far, but if I have to write one more announcement of a remake/adaptation of old movie/TV show, it's not going to be pretty.
