For $20 I'd say you're right! That's a bargain. Although even for "only" $20 I'd certainly hope that there weren't a bunch of people there who thought they were too cool for it, unless of course they were parents/guardians accompanying minors. There's nothing cool about voluntarily spending $20 on something you don't

These tracks are hodgepodges of sonic mimcry with no synthesis of influences and no lyrical depth. It may be shameless, but it's shameless soullessness.

So this is like the musical version of Poe's Law then.

Yeah, but he'd actually wrap some context around it. That's why Eminem was so much better than most rappers. Believe it or not, you can do more than just find every single word, phrase, and proper noun that ends with something you can sort-of-almost morph into an "uh," such that it rhymes with "nigga" and "muthafucka."

Reviewing stuff like this is akin to trying to strangle an eel covered in anal lube.

If you abandoned all pretense and were just going somewhere to "dance like crazy" then you overpaid for your experience thanks to branding. There's nothing wrong with disposable music for disposable people with disposable income, but that doesn't mean I won't judge you for paying a premium for vapor.

I really appreciated how Dana drew that really deep, insightful parallel between her and Finn's relationship and the woman they killed. And how she explained it for our benefit. I half expected her to make a comment about how she'd been working on that line for weeks and was just waiting for the perfect time to lay it

Government conspiracies could never work because not that many people would submit themselves to them? Dude. So many people submit themselves to being cogs in larger organizations and justify all sorts of questionable behavior and willful ignorance. It's part of the human condition. David Estes is a wonderful

There's a part of me that wants to say something hyperbolic like "I have no idea how the same writing team can be responsible for the first half of the season and this episode," but all the seeds for this shit-blossom were planted in earlier episodes, save perhaps for Jim Beaver's guest appearance. All the Laguerta

I'd probably be more disappointed to hear about a (non-persona-related) scandal involving Stephen Colbert than one about Jon Stewart.
