I really have no idea why H. Jon Benjamin was shoehorned into this episode, but I love his voice so I'll allow it.

I agree with reviewer - the Laurel stuff tonight was cringeworthy. I haven't heard dialogue so on-the-nose since I TOTALLY NEVER WATCHED SMALLVILLE HAHA RIGHT GUYS NOBODY WATCHED THAT SHOW RIGHT?

I'm a bit taken aback by the reviewer's failure to notice certain details earlier in the season, but I suppose they haven't yet been a huge deal. So long as Benny's a monster and not a human, and, I suppose, not a Leviathan, that's really all you needed to know to center yourself up to this point. Tonight, even the

For all his frailty as a 'mere' human, it seems like a year in Purgatory did wonders for Dean's ability to take out the less-explicitly-magical monsters that he encounters. It's a nice touch, and the rolling head was very amusing.

The show should just pull a Buffy and kill them with science. It's been 1,000+ years. Humans have nuclear weapons and the internet. It's time.

Having seen Chronicle, I think the makers of Chronicle should sue this episode in some sort of Moral Plagiarism Court. Clearly they have no case in actual court, but still, it was egregious.

I agree that they didn't properly set up any of the Alphas dying except possibly for Rachel, and I also agree that this served as a pretty powerful swan song for Rosen.

This was Parrish's best episode by far, and perversely enough, I have to give most of the credit to the scene where he spells it out clearly: he knows he's going to commit an unforgivable crime, and he knows that the guy who actually commits that crime can't survive, regardless of whether it turns out to have been the
