I hated it the first six or so times he said it, but the more obvious the buildup got, the more this heart of stone melted for…the CREEEEEEEPIES

With the addition of Welcome to Nightvale to the Podmass roundup comes the new, third category: "Of Course." Of course Welcome to Nightvale was excellent this week.

Ric Burns is the "sleazy documentarian" character I did in my college improv group. Even when the scene didn't call for it, I found a way to just sorta slip into him. Ric's still a part of my psyche to this day.

Only once with teenagers. Zemeckis is stomped by adults and children on the daily.

I agree; I thought he was saying "people will want to use that headscarf as an excuse to discredit you, so you'd better deliver." It struck me as tough love.

True, B means "above average," but try telling that to my parents. The Arcade Fire came home with that B this afternoon and now they won't be able to sit for days.*

If that's the case, let me introduce you to the 20/20 Experience!

Don't let it scare you. It's just one of those reviews where they spend so much time on the "but…" part of "I liked it, but…" that they forget to get into why they liked it.

So does it end with the reveal that The Polar Express was Robert Zemeckis' way of processing that time he got stomped by teenagers?

I like Gelman and Daly (I'm talking about John, but of course Andy is unassailable) on the show, I just find the Beuford and Messmore episodes uneven.

As someone with a podcast, I'm consistently insecure about being just one more person with a podcast.

I'm curious about that boyfriend! You don't just slip "he died later that day" in without a little context.

Yeah; McKay came across as dickish in the way many comedy writers tend to be, and I imagine Bruer's impression is painted by the fact that McKay's moves toward the top left him out in the cold.

I love Daly and Gelman, but I found their Comedy Fang Fang episodes to be too unfocused for my taste. And you know there's trouble when I'm calling a CBB episode 'unfocused.'

How does one get on the radar for the Outliers?*

Proops on Proops on Proops

You'd think, then all of a sudden, your family is like "Hmmm the last few months we've been over to Uncle Greg's house definitely land in The Rest of the Podfam rankings."

I made the mistake of listening to Fogelnest right after WTF. I felt super conflicted hearing Jim Bruer throw Adam McKay under the bus right before hearing the man himself be super funny (albiet snarky enough for me to still believe Bruer's complaints).

There is nothing I can defend this movie with other than the sheer gratitude I have for the doors to my sexuality that corset opened. This movie was pretty much my girlfriend in middle school.

PLEASE, CALL ME GARRY.
