It's not the end of the arc, just a setup.

For all the violence in The Warriors, nothing in that film is as terrifying as the Ducky Boys in the Wanderers. Kaufman imbued those scenes with the same tense horror he gave Body Snatchers a year before.

It's pretty different. From what I read of NA, Ewing is still aiming for humor, just not the USG type of humor.

I don't know, I can't say. I don't even think excluding colorists would be noticeable by me most of the time, but in this case Bellaire's contribution was crucial to the story and the excellence of the series

Speaking of Squirrel Girl, I just saw an image from the upcoming US Avengers, which is the continuation of Ewing's New Avengers with new team members. It looks like Doreen's in charge. I wasn't crazy about the two or three issues of New Avengers I read, but this might be fun.

The thing is, at least in this case, they weren't lying. More importantly, the work *does* speak for itself as long as the reader/viewer allows it to. I could be wrong, but I got the impression that most of the negative responses were reacting to publicity and interviews rather than the actual content of the story

I'm guessing she's more Henny Youngman with a dash of Richard Pryor

Have you read any of Waid's Black Widow?

I don't know why people insist on comparing them. They have similar names and they deal with gangs, but other than that they have nothing in common. I've never read it, but from the synopsis I think the novel on which The Warriors is based on is closer to the themes and style of The Wanderers (both the film and the

It wasn't her fault those dumb kids sucked at Geography.

I think it's ridiculous that the forthcoming Vision tpb, one of several books for which Bellaire received an Eisner nomination, does not have her name in the cover. Not to take away from King and Walta, but Bellaire's contribution is integral to making that series as excellent as it is.

i actually do have it. It's not bad, but for me it's more a matter of time.

Has anybody said '2Das2Boot' yet? No? Ok, here you go

I don't read webcomics because I don't enjoy reading on a PC screen. Mainly, I don't like scrolling. If there is a reader app for webcomics that offers a similar experience as guided view, I'd like to know about it.

Fiddle-faddle

I see those season 5 rage/protest quits had a lasting impact.

I forgot about James Robinson's and Greg Hinkle's 'Airboy' was pretty much entirely about creators meeting their character(s). It's also really good.

I once saw a panel that John Byrne drew for a DC series where the bad guy was quite obviously Jim Shooter.

Steve Englehart, Gerry Conway, and Len and Glynnis Wein took a trip together which served as inspiration for a three issue crossover (Amazing Adventures #16, Thor #207, and Justice League #103) that not only featured them as characters, but was also the first Marvel/DC crossover.
