There's a Hercules tie-in, Gods of War, but #1 didn't elucidate the motivation at all.

Vol 1 is out. The second arc just ended, so expect vol 2 in the near future.

A couple years ago, when I made the first tentative steps into reading, several people at work visited the LCS near us every week. I didn't go right away, but I would frequently give them a Jackson and dealer's choice. I discovered a bunch of great stuff that way, some of which I still read today.

I recommend it. It's really a great deal and there's so much content. It's hard to go wrong with that price.

Miles and Ornette ruined jazz. Cecil Taylor was an amusing anecdote. The loft scene, the AACM, etc were elaborate pranks. And the Europeans? The Europeans didn't even exist.

The first trade (#1-5) is definitely on MU.

Ha, I just finished the first Zdarsky/Quinones volume and it was so much fun. I'm glad this little Marvel sub-universe inhabited by Patsy, Howard, Doreen, and Jennifer exists and (usually, not always) its own, self-contained thing.
