That's a great question, and I would also love an answer.

He only wrote the first four issues, which are great. The second half of the run isn't bad, but is no where close to the first four.

Yes, they are amazing. The first two issues are the Contest of Champions where earth's mightiest heroes compete against other planet's heroes. (a T-Rex is on Tick's team)
The second two are a silver surfer/galactus parody. Also fantastic. I read these way before Venture Bros was a thing, and it took a whole season of

I didn't find out about the comics until the mid 90s, so I never had to wait 6 months in between issues. I do wish he would have at least gotten issue 13 out there at some point. (Still hope though, right?!) But yes, he did plant a ton of seeds that would have been amazing to see play out.
The first time I read the

Karma Tornado, the first arc,(I think it was 4 issues) was amazing. It was written (and maybe even drawn) by Chris McCulloch (better know around these parts as Jackson Publick!)
Run three, Big Blue Destiny by Eli Stone was also fantastic.
Of course the original 12 are perfection.

Let's not forget that the first panel of issue one is the Tick locked up in a mental institution, straightjacket included.
The fist handful of Tick comic runs (original, karma tornado, big blue destiny) were always a pretty dark place to me. Glad we are revisiting this.

Easily, EASILY, the first Super Furry Animals LP, Fuzzy Logic. They remain the best band making music today.

Let's be honest, please for once av club, the best thing about 1996 was the debut of the Super Furry Animals. ( obviously I'm not counting EP's here )

I mean… people really think they way you do, I guess.

Yeah, um, basically everyone associated with the DNC look like asshats right now…

As someone who talks out loud to himself, and appreciates excellent film, I'll stand with Clint.

The fact that the DNC is already a bigger joke than the RNC is pretty amazing.

The Super Furry Animals are still the best group making music today.

This is you attempting to be ironic, yes?

Not even a passing mention of Game 7 of the NBA Finals, hm?

Some of us work (or live) downtown and do not need/appreciate any more ruckus then there already will be. Thanks for being assholes.

What a waste of a perfectly good Super Furry Animals call out, for a lame/overused Phish one. Weak.

I hate hipsters.

Seriously? These comments….

Slow reaction time to type an article with a second paragraph (of two) almost composed entirely of PR press.
