The second one.
The second one.
@avclub-4f5c3c2a7dceb338fc816507b94b3519:disqus That's a very good point, especially considering Sorkin's politics, in general. I still think that story with Mac and the kid was very specific.
I know you were venting but since I read all of it… the point is entertainment.
Will and Mac both have shown they love differing opinions (one example: sorority girl). Will said something like "anyone who speaks out is brave" in this very episode. That is not the point.
And I thought one man's opinion (Don or Sorkin, take your pick) does not (and should not) be interpreted as a statement on gender relations for the past however many years. Agree to disagree.
I'm in love with Colbert's voice. His real voice, that is. I wish I was one of his kids so I could hear him say, as he tucked me in at night: Who the fuck are you and what have you done with my son?
Or another way: I am a rich and powerful EP of a well-regarded news show, not to mention a respected journalist in my own right. I have 60 minutes to fill and your albeit tragic story IS NOT NEWS. Excuse me, I still have that job to do.
To be fair (I haven't WW in years and never watched 60) Mac made an excellent point. "This" (a serious news show) was not the time nor place to come out to his parents. That is not "news" in any widely-accepted sense of the word, unless he was patient zero
>Maggie screws up again because she's lettering her emotions get in the way?
Amazing. This was a nearly flawless episode of The Newsroom. Extra marks for everything spooky Frank Wood said and the way he said it (Mav and Goose at Miramar, hee), the look on Pill's face when Jim called her out on drinking (been there, sister), and the general directorial plate-spinning that kept me looking at the…
jesus. For equality to mean anything it has to go both ways. Don was commiserating with a co-worker. That's all. Except the romantic subtext ofc, but that's not apropos.
You know there's a Herve Villechaize biopic coming out starring Peter Dinklage, right?
Attention staff: Chance Briggs. That is all.
Cedric Yarbrough? Jesus.
I was 100 percent ready for Dr. Broyles to suggest a lot of LSD, a Yes album, and a sensory-deprivation tank.

There's probably some pictures of Summer in the metal bikini on deviantart already. From 11 years ago.
I'd give her a distaff spin, if you know what I mean. Yeah, the fellas know what I mean.
"There are no second acts in the world of theater." Simple joke, but it was delivered perfectly. RIRH, Calculon.
