All this episode really taught me is that teenage & mid 20s boys are NASTY. How in the hell do you not notice a fly buzzing around you and then ENTERING YOUR SKIN?! EWW

Count me amongst those who were skeptical of Dunham - my problem with her has less to do with her success and more with her seemingly very limited world view - and were then pleasantly surprised by her performances. I missed the opening sketch but she had me from pretty much the opening monologue.
For me it's really hard for me to tell who failed whom - was it bad writing that had him playing the same character over & over or was it his inability to really stretch as an actor that led to the writers trying to work with what they had. Hrm…..
Yeah - this episode was awful.
I really enjoyed this episode myself.
I LOST IT at that. He's always funny but for that of all things to be what causes him to show emotion enough to burst into tears is both so amazingly ridiculous and completely in character.
Let's not discount the Sheriff either ;3
Props to Jeff for an episode with actual scary & surprising elements. The effects on the masked men were seriously great - Silencing Lydia?! - , as was the Chris cliffhanger, and I'm glad that they're utilizing Dylan for more difficult work now. It was nice that Derek had a cute little moment with the kids and I…
There was a lot to like about this episode's big moments & certainly the climax was nice but my favorite moments were the little things - Allison's dad walking in, Isaac holding the twins to their part in killing Boyd, 'you're the hot girl', Stiles' panic at being left at school. Kira fits in better than anticipated…
it was definitely stronger pre-weekend update to me as well.
She's fine enough but aside from her work in the 'Girls' sketch nothing she's done has really been all that special. I like her more than the crowd of new guys and she's certainly trying but as of now she could be replaced or scrapped and I wouldn't feel torn up over it.
I definitely think Drake needs to stick to making his own music instead of his unhealthy fixation on Aaliyah as it is slightly damaging to her legacy, more so his however.
While they didn't do a lot to truly feature Sasheer she managed to find her stride fairly fast and lend herself naturally to her sketches, something that the gaggle of new boys have yet to do themselves. Her best, however, was easily the brief shot of Sasheer as Rihanna in the barbados blossom remake - signature moves…
Believe me - none of these mothers are being glamourized. All of them are either too busy with their kid to really do anything, fighting with the fathers about parenting if they're still together and/or custody issues with exes, struggling to finish school or miserable for any number of reasons. These shows might be…
I can see what you're saying for sure, but it was my understanding that she didn't know exactly what was causing the potential damage & simply assumed werewolf roughhousing instead. A bit of a stretch but a relatively small one in the context of this show.
Yeah - there's no reason that Lydia should still wield the power she does at school, because she hangs out with the 'weird' kids. Jackson's reaction to the Wolf Pack was exaggerated in its own way but I could bet that more people would have, if nothing else, a milder version of his same distrust.
Neither are the writers, so don't feel too bad about it.
Undressed is definitely something I would consider a teenage staple and something I look back on fondly. It was the first time that I'd seen sex portrayed in a positive way as well as the first time I saw a show featuring gay people in a positive light. I definitely miss this era of MTV and prefer it over this current…
I thought the new episode was better than most but I'm trying to not get all that excited over it. Ditto on Kira as, while I adore her already, Jeff Davis' Track record with female characters & ones of color isn't exactly the best. Someone FINALLY overhearing the crew & their plans was also a nice touch. How is it…
See, I actually liked that Kira mentioned overhearing them and used it as an in to attempt integration in their group as they're always talking about supernatural stuff but no one seems to notice this at all. Why is she the first?
