Perhaps the real question is 'where *isn't* she?' I have no doubt that mafia or no mafia there is no stopping her.

When you name an episode 'Surprise!' you better deliver on it and BOY did they.

I must say that I was really surprised & proud of Lil Mama's performance. In a lot of ways she was seen as a joke but this did a good bit in redeeming her. If she can switch over from music to movies permanently I think she has a real shot at an acting career.

That still works under the assumption that weird kids only look/act a certain way and that good looking people could never be outcasts, which is an outdated ideal. Maybe in the past CM's Carrie would've been guaranteed popular or at least 'normal' but in the 00s/10s world of teens that just isn't enough anymore and

'Moretz, with her soft, cherubic features and flowing locks, isn’t just too conventionally pretty for the part. She’s too adjusted,
coming across less like the “very peculiar girl” King described in his
novel and more like the stealth babe of some nottie-to-hottie teen
romance. Buying that this girl would have trouble

This is why I wish they would've moved Mellie's moment to the end. It had the same dark tone but it was a lighter delivery/moment overall.

While I did like the episode I can definitely agree that Mary's story itself seemed inconsequential. Not that it wasn't important but unlike other dramatic elements that we've seen in 'Scandal' I could conceive it happening - a soldier up too high that they eliminated when there was a doubt about his intentions -

I'm going with delusion as he seems completely out of touch with how things work in the real world for people who aren't from rich families. He actually thought that leaking the name would eventually lead to a happy resolution for him & Liv, not taking into consideration just how it would affect her in the process.

I was at first upset that the flashbacks didn't take place when Liv was too young to be portrayed by Kerry but that feeling soon passed the farther we got into the episode. Seeing her meet David for the first time and helping Huck were lovely treats (as was watching Liv discover her love for Wine for the first time)

Amidst all the foolish episodes or craziness RM likes to throw into this series, every once in a while he gets one episode, or even a moment of an episode, right and I'm glad that this was such an occasion. There are minor things for me to critique - the fact that Schue let Puck take the fall over the jacket being the

My kingdom for more adaptations with Brunette Alices, something I ask for because the original (Liddell) was herself so this show gets a thumbs up in that respect (or is that more dirty blonde? I'm not sure). Overall I'm not completely sold on them - a combination of first impressions and my own wariness at allowing

This episode was mostly awful but I'm not sure if it was because of Miley so much as the writers or a breakdown in between. She's certainly always been game to make fun of herself, and did so with gusto, but the majority of it didn't elevate itself past simply acknowledging the events. Bits & pieces were cute - The

This was a really solid episode not only on the personal side but with the mystery itself as well. Before the climax I thought for sure the ex had maybe framed the murderer by dressing up like them so to see the show continue to take turns all the way to the end was great. Lucy was also at her best tonight & her

I've always liked her a bit here or there but she really had some lovely growth last season that made me excited for her in this new one. She's come a long way from sleeping with the enemy!

soon enough, don't worry

LOL!

I'm so proud that Scarlett has no only found her backbone but is being very adamant about using it. Everything she did this episode was needed and I'm glad he has someone in his corner that refuses to let him waste away to nothing.

'The black parent' speech

Of the 4(?) now, I'd say this one wasn't the funniest but the original/Jamie Foxx's and Ben's were pretty hysterical (well, to me at least)

I thought her moments with Tina were pretty cute, especially all the call me/never call me & I won't be watching moments.
