"But if this experiment winds up a success, it’d be cool to see Family Guy (or, say, a smarter, more competent animated sitcom run by the same guy) try something similar, but on a bigger scale and with a bit more thought to the characters."

They're doing fine with the 3DS at least.

Haley is my favourite character.

He did mention being 15 in the recent hunting episode.

I love how they always try to solve a standard sitcom tropes with the wackiest and craziest story imaginable.

Such a shame since it's definitely the most adventurous, ambitious and experimental show in the Animation Domination lineup, and I love it just as much as Bob's Burgers.

The show is trying to have it's cake and eat it too. It's nice that everything is so elastic and joke machine-y that the family can just do and say anything (the last scene of this episode was funny to me) but that means that trying to tackle something more emotional might not have as much of a payoff. Natural comedy is all about doing the joke everybody else is doing?

I dont know why you got downvoted since you're right.

Or maybe "hey jamaica=pot" is a joke that's done to death and everyone is tired of it?

I think this review is fine, but maybe judging it as Breaking Bad parody and then judging it as a regular episode would have been better.

The masturbate joke was good, yes.

If you think this is bad head on over to a positive Simpsons review one of these days and you'll see true pain.

This was odd for me. The first half of the episode actually made me feel a bit sorry for Peter, especially since the whole Family were acting even more jerk-assy than usual today (that whole laughing at Peter after saying they loved him was both funny and unsettling) and that part about vomiting in the yard was almost
