speaking of all this good and evil stuff.  Do you guys agree that Princess Bubblegum has done more morally questionable stuff than Marciline?
Marceline just pranks Finns, wants to assert her property rights and have a good time.

I was slightly disappointed by this film, if only because I had crazy expectations and I loved Joss Whedon.

That last sentence is why I like her as a character.  I'd feel that she would lose something as a character if we weren't reminded a bit that she (and all the other characters except FInn) are not human and thus have slightly different concepts of friendship and morality.

she threw F & J back into the world while being possessed by a chaos demon.  What more do you want a friend to do !?

this almost makes up for the time Stan forced his daughter into prostitution to get back at a used car salesman.  Almost.

I'd personally like to think that they live together as happy murderous vampires.

you mean things didn't work out between that shark and samuel l jackson?!

Surprised that "Let the Right One In"* didn't make the list and something like Inception did

if you were going through gender reassignment surgery, wouldn't you want to cut your penis off last?  Just in case you change your mind?

just watched the first episode on  hulu.  Thoughts:
they all deserve to die for continuing on.
the Source is probably going to be the new white light from lost.  They'll save it for the season finale where the characters will walk into the light and go INTO THE MIND ITSELF to work out a season's worth of daddy issues.

I don't know about hated, but I thought it was really unnecessary, like if they cut the cartoon, cut the prologue narration from part 2, they could have made one super-awesome movie instead of two merely good ones.

proud to say I've watched absolutely none of these.

Fuck MI3.  That movie was the most joyless, boring, by-the-numbers spy thriller ever.  It's as if they didn't even care about their own story and instead of doing anything remotely fun or exciting it gave a smug pile of shit with a wink and nod to the audience:  "You've already seen this twice so just imagine we'll

wtf?! Did I just get spoiled by an avclub interview?!

Netflix would have to bring back 3 Fireflys and 2 Arrested Developments to ever mean anything to me again.

hmmm, why is avclub reviewing this again?  It's not like the target
audience will ever read or care about the avclub.  Avclub readers won't
ever go see this movie and the whole review sounds like "Yep it's
exactly as advertised, white male leads family and God's got his back."

Let the Right One In.
