Both flagship universities. One has a BCS appearance and 3 men's championships. UConn has soccer which most likely trumps "LAX" but if you disagree you can call me ignorant again.

Not to mention the UConn Women's eight National Championships. Before UConn the women's Big East was nothing but once they started winning it paved the way for Rutgers, Notre Dame, Louisville, and a few other programs that made strong post-season runs.
