Okay, this confirms that I misunderstood your initial comment, and yeah, I do agree with you completely on this one. I'm in a paper and pencil campaign (not D&D but a homebrew thing based on Fallout) and I had to work on getting my spotlight-stealing urges repressed for the sake of working things out with the group

I admit it's been a while since I've played FF7, but I don't see why so many people hate it, aside from backlash against overenthusiastic fans… and Sephiroth. The music is great, the settings are beautiful, and I still remember how I felt when my party grieved Aeris's death using body language instead of words.
